Mobile Numbers & Pagers
UK mobile phone codes
The first 5 or 6 digits of a mobile number indicate what network issued it originally – although as customers can keep the same phone number when moving to another mobile company, they are not a reliable indicator of the current operator.
Note that mobile phone numbers for the Isle of Man and the Channel Islands are mixed in with standard UK mobile network numbers; some prefixes may be charged at international rates.

Numbers starting '070' are not mobile phones, they are personal numbers charged at various different rates.
